McNiff Fitness Center

The McNiff Fitness Center is a 6,000 sq. ft. fitness facility featuring: 
  • 19 PRECOR cardio machines including treadmills, ellipticals, stationary bikes, and climbers
  • 19 Nautilus Nitro weight machines
  • 11 Reebok Tomahawk spin bikes 
  • Multiple free-weight lifting stations with more than 2,500 lbs. of plates
  • Group fitness area complete with mats, steps, hand weights, BOSU balls and stability balls

  • Monday-Thursday: 7 a.m. - midnight
  • Friday: 7 a.m.-10 p.m.
  • Saturday-Sunday: 10 a.m.-10 p.m.
  • May 5-May 7:  7 a.m.-midnight
  • May 8: 10 a.m.-10 p.m.
  • May 9: CLOSED until May 27

                        
Summer Hours of Operation

Monday - Thursday: 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.

Friday - Sunday: 12 p.m. - 5 p.m.

Building hours follow the Summer 1 and Summer 2 schedules.  The fitness center will be open from May 27 - July 3 and July 7 - Aug. 15.

 

Membership Information

Full-time, undergraduate student memberships are free. Faculty and staff memberships are $50 per year. Memberships for graduate students, alumni and part-time students are $100 per year. Memberships that require a fee must be paid for via cash or check made out to the "University of Tampa," at the McNiff Fitness Center and will cover the time period between Aug. 1, 2007-July 31, 2008. The fitness center does not offer pro-rated allowances for membership fees.
