The
MSN program offers graduate-level study with adult and family nurse practitioner concentrations or nursing education.
The
adult and family nurse practitioner concentrations prepare the advanced practice nurse for roles as primary care providers. Opportunities in a variety of settings position the well-prepared nurse practitioner to enhance access to excellent health care for all.
The acute national shortage of nursing educators makes the
education concentration a good choice for nursing graduates. It prepares nurses to teach in both formal and informal settings, with an additional focus on consumer education.
Admission to the MSN Program is competitive. Students must have earned a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher in the last 60 hours of coursework.
