Advanced Placement Credit

Students may receive academic credit (up to 30 hours) for successful completion of Advanced Placement (AP) examinations taken in high school.

The AP is administered by the College Entrance Examination Board
UT awards up to 30 hours of credit for both AP and CLEP
Credit is earned for 3, 4, and 5 only
Students may receive up to 8 semester hours of credit in English and Writing for qualifying scores on the AP exam
