George DaPonte
Director of International Admissions
All international students living in the United States and countries not covered by Jaini and Brad.

George DaPonte is Director of International Admissions. He moved to Tampa from Washington, D.C., in July of 2000. George works with students from outside the United States and international students who are currently studying in the United States.

George is Portuguese-American and studied extensively in Spain. He works with two other full-time international counselors helping students from all over the world achieve their international educational goals at The University of Tampa.

Jaini Shah
Assistant Director of International Admissions
Africa, Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka

Jaini Shah graduated from The University of Tampa in 2004 with a degree in business management. Jaini attended UT as an international student from Kenya. As a student, she was involved with the International Student Organization, Student Government, the American Marketing Association, and Delta Sigma Pi. Jaini works with students from Africa, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Bangladesh.

Brad Randel
International Admissions Counselor
Caribbean, U.S. territories, and U.S. citizens overseas

Brad Randel joined The University of Tampa admissions staff in 2005, after graduating from New England College. While in college, Brad studied business management and Spanish, and he participated in a study abroad program to Madrid, Spain.
