Optimal Resume

Student Login Instructions
  1. To access Optimal Resume, go to ut.optimalresume.com
  2. If this is your first time logging into the software, click on Get Started which is located in the LOGIN box under the Submit button.
  3. Enter UT e-mail address (and password if you have already logged in).
  4. Complete your profile.
  5. To begin work on resume, click on the Document Center Tab.
  6. Select NEW RESUME.
  7. Select START RESUME.
  8. Name your resume. Example: sallyspartanaccounting
  9. Follow the instructions in writing and building your resume.
  10. There is a video tutorial and an instruction PDF available under the Help section to the right.
  11. After you have completed your resume, you may download it and email it as an attachment to Career Services staff, faculty, etc. You are also encouraged to download your resume to a disk or your hard drive, and then put it into your HIRE-UT account so that you can send it to employers as you make application for positions.
  12. You may EDIT, CLONE, RE-STYLE, DOWNLOAD, RENAME, CLONE and DELETE your resume by clicking on the Document Center Tab. Then, click on the resume. The choices will appear in the section below.
