BA in Theatre

Play

The Bachelor of Arts in Theatre major provides a rigorous routine of study, maintaining a pace brimming with positive intensity.

Students develop performance skills and repertoires of monologues and scenes, while participating in staged productions and concert cabarets. The program includes in-residence workshops with established theatre artists and internship opportunities with a local theme park, theatre company or other venue deemed appropriate by the faculty and program director.

An audition is required for admission to the program (see requirements below). Students in the theatre arts program must successfully pass a second-year evaluation review during the spring semester of the second year of study (or, for transfer students, after 60 hours are earned). Transfer students who are admitted with junior status are exempt from the evaluation.
