Students who wish to attend another college or university and transfer credit to The University of Tampa should complete a
Transient Student Status Form (PDF) and return the form to the Registrar's Office, located in Plant Hall, Rm. 113. Please review the
requirements and instructions for using the form.
Students who have less than 64 credits may apply to take courses at a community or junior college as a transient student. Students who have earned 64 or more credits may apply to take courses only at a four-year college or university for credit.
How to Request Transient Student Status - Obtain a Transient Student Status Form from the University Academic Advising Office, Plant Hall, Rm. 308, or Registrar’s Office, Plant Hall, Rm. 113, or download PDF.
- Review the requirements and instructions (PDF) for using the Transient Student Status Form.
- Complete the form, indicating the course number and title of the course to be taken at the other college or university.
- Obtain the appropriate signatures as noted on the form.
- Return the form to the Registrar’s Office, Plant Hall, Rm. 113.
