Academic Publications

The University of Tampa Press extends the educational mission of the University through the publication of works of scholarship, creativity, and regional interest. Its publications disseminate the fruits of learning to a wide audience of serious readers both within and beyond the academic institution.

Authors have included Nobel Prize and Pulitzer Prize winners, notable state and regional authors and artists, widely-published alumnae, UT faculty members and many new or emerging authors.

Journals

Tampa Review

Published twice a year as a limited-edition hardback, the Tampa Review is the University's award-winning international literary journal, featuring art, stories, interviews, poetry, and creative nonfiction from across the state and around the world.

Edited by faculty members from the Department of English and Writing, the Tampa Review helps host visiting writers on campus and sponsors the international Tampa Review Prize for Poetry each year.

A reviewer for NewPages.com described the Tampa Review as “the most beautiful review I've ever seen.”

Pinter Review

The Pinter Review is an acclaimed semi-annual academic journal that includes articles, interviews, reviews, essays, bibliographies, and manuscripts. The publication is distributed to libraries and readers throughout the world.

The Pinter Review is devoted to the work of Harold Pinter, who is widely recognized as Britain 's greatest living dramatist. A recent issue published Harold Pinter's first full draft of The Homecoming with handwritten revisions and an essay on its significance.

The Pinter Review editor and the UT Press sponsor the annual Pinter Review Prize for Drama.
